Hey guys!
All is well in the Hutchison household. Christmas has come and gone and now it's the long months.
Devin is doing great...school is good...he is learning to read (short words) and doing wonderful with it. I thought boys would be difficult to teach but so far he is in a good routine and very teachable.
Autumn is Autumn!!! Girly and always very dramatic. She is learning a lot from me teaching Devin so I think she will have a heads up when I start teaching her in a couple of years.
Lily will be 1 year old on Friday, the 26th. She is doing new stuff everyday...it is such a fun age.
I will post some pictures soon.
The next bit of news is very dear to a parents heart and I just can't describe it.
Last Friday night, Devin asked Jesus to be his Savior. He is only 5 1/2 but very smart when it comes to Biblical facts/teachings. It is a very long story, one that I want to share with you all.
We have been consistent with having nightly devotions with the kids for a little over a year. And recently Devin has been asking lots of questions about salvation and about what happens if you are or aren't saved. So...Neal asked Devin everyway possible about salvation and what Jesus did for us and without hesitation he can tell us. He then prayed but seems very shy about it. so we will let it simmer and we know Jesus is working on his heart and all he can do now is GROW! Praise God.
I'll write again soon.

I have goose bumps! PRAISE THE LORD! That is so wonderful. I know you are very excited and it will be fun to see him grow and get more excited about the Bible. Way to go you two for being consistant on the nightly devo's. That is amazing and very hard to do. So yah! Landon is getting there, I believe. He knows it all, just hasn't made it personal yet. We talk about it as often as curcumstances allow.
I am so happy. We will have to talk more about it later. I'm sure there is more to the story than just that. :)
Take care
That is so awesome! How exciting! That made me tear up a bit! I am always so excited to hear of anyone trusting Christ...but it is so neat when it is family!
Thanks! It was amazing!
Pray for him and us in the weeks and months to come (and of course years)
Can't wait to talk more....and see you all again.
