Devin's birthday #7

Devin from beginning to end of his birthday...He got on my bed EARLY that morning and started with the "7" thing.

I had him a little pool party. Then he had a pool party at the Moose Lodge for with his baseball team that evening where he had pizza and received his trophy. Then he came home and opened his gift from us. We got him a BB gun. The one in the picture is not the one he ended up with because I could barely pump it so imagine having to pump it 3 times everytime he wanted to shoot it. He ended up with a Daisy...Red Rider. He loves it!!!!

Anniversary Getaway Cabin

This was a real nice cabin....Kitchen, LR, King sized bed, bath and hottub on the deck. It looks a little like home but that's okay, it was quiet, cozy and private.

Devin's basketball warmup before a game....his team played in the championship game Sunday the 2nd and won!!! The score was close and both teams played equally 10-9. He had a blast playing this year.

Here's the furniture...plus we have a chair & 1/2 w/ ottaman. Of course it looks better in our living room than on this showroom picture I got off the website :)

Hi all! I hope everyone is doing well. It is a wintry mix here today but I made it work without any problems.

Just thought I would give you a few updates. Not too much is going on just the norm.

Devin is playing basketball....he really likes it and is learning a lot about the game. He scored his first 2 points last Saturday AND stole the ball. It's fun to watch those little ones get into the game and be aggressive. He has lost 2 more teeth within the last 4 days. No top ones yet but both are loose:)

Autumn has been the only one not sick in our house. Devin and Lily had a cold followed by an ear infection about 2 weeks ago but everyone is good now.

We bought new living room furniture a couple of weeks ago and got it on Wednesday...it's a big change but we like it...now I am trying to decide on some accent tables. Decisions, decisions.

Lily had a great birthday...she was really excited. She is talking a little more everyday and even saying a few sentences. It sure is easier when they can communicate with you.

Well, I am looking forward to spring and summer....so needless to say I am ready for this cold to be over.
