Nothing going on in Craig County VA

Summer is ending and I am kind of sad. I love the sun, the pool, the creek and all the fun stuff summer allows.

The kids are great! School will be starting up August 29th...the Hutchison Acadamy of Higher Education-hehehe

Neal had a wonderful birthday...I filled up his IPOD with songs and then we took the kids to my moms and enjoyed a wonderful evening of Avalanche baseball. He didn't say much about the birthday issue. He usually doesn't so I didn't mention it but once. :)

Hope all is well with you guys. Any VA visits anytime soon...the fall maybe?

Beach trip 2007

This was the best picture I could get of a dolphin....one morning they were everwhere and this one was really close to the shore. The didn't jump out of the water much higher than this.

Back to the regular grind

Well, we survived our mini-vacation with 3 children under the age of 5!! Ha Ha

We spent 3 nights at Nags Head...we stayed in Kitty Hawk which is about 12-14 miles north of Nags Head. The weather was beautiful.

We climbed jockeys ridge (huge sand dunes) and visited the NC Aquarium and the Oregon Inlet (which is a place where you can charter boats to fish and such). We saw some huge fish that had been caught off shore...tuna, king makeral and mahi mahi.

We ate at some great places also.

Salem Avalanche Fan Fest '07

We took Devin and Autumn to Fan Fest on Saturday. It was a lot of fun....it did rain a bit though. It stopped raining and the sun came out about the time we were leaving.

We went on a tour of the stadium and I took some pics.

A little history...in 1995 it 12 million to build but today it would cost 45-50 million. It is a

single A team but the facility is that of a AAA team. Behind the scenes, especially....is really awesome.

Anyway...I hope all is well. will we be seeing any of you in VA soon?

Anita, Sarah, Gloria, Cindy and I went to the Biltmore in Asheville, NC about a week ago. I didn't get many pics but here is one. I bet it is really beautiful in the spring and summer with all the plants and flowers in bloom.
